How long does the game take to play?
The game takes between 45 to 90 minutes depending on the number of players. In general, we have found that a typical game will take 15 minutes times the number of players.
Who is most likely to enjoy the game?
Our game is a family and party game with a dash of strategy. Anyone who is expressive and unreserved can really get into the game.
Where did you get the idea for this game?
During the Spring-Summer 2018 session, the creator of this game was teaching his kids' Sunday morning Bible class. After one class, he asked them if they enjoyed the class. Their response was that the class was boring - that the creator talked too much. On the following Saturday morning, in the space between a dream and waking up, the idea for the game popped. The game played very well and everyone (kids included) realized its potential.
Why is the name of the game "True Frenemies"?
The original working name of the game was "Good Friends, Bad Friends, Very Bad Friends". It was then changed to "Secret Friends". After a lot of thought and considerable debate, we felt that the name "True Frenemies" encapsulated both of the concepts and was easy to remember.
Why is your firm called "Mount 21 Productions"?
Our name is taken from Matthew 21:21
How long does it take to learn how to play the game?
We have found that new players can begin playing within as little as 10 minutes. In addition to the full rule-set, we have a condensed version which allows play to begin very quickly.
